Nataliya Popovych

Nataliya Popovych is the President of PRP Group, a Weber Shandwick Affiliate company. She supervises the firm’s operations in Russia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan as well as drives the development of the agency’s business in other CIS markets.

In her role, Nataliya brings PRP’s clients and teams more than ten years of integrated marketing communications and public relations experience. Her broad-based expertise comes from her work in advertising, government and public relations, complemented with graduate studies and practical training in the United States.

Nataliya’s local and the US academic background and professional approach translate into a strong strategic contribution to PRP’s clients’ business. From Leo Burnett, one of the leading advertising agencies in the world, to Romyr & Associates, Canadian government and public relations firm, to Weber Shandwick and PRP Group, as Nataliya’s current tenure, Nataliya has greatly contributed to the rise of professional practice of public relations in the post-Soviet markets as such.

Nataliya has been with PRP Group, a Weber Shandwick affiliate, for 4 years. She started her work at PRP as General Manager of the Ukrainian office, which she led to its market leading position. In 2005, she became President of PRP Group CIS.

Natalia is closely involved in all agency client relationships and client programs, including large international clients like Microsoft, HP, Campbell’s, Bosch Siemens, J&J, Nortel, Asti, ExxonMobil and ING, as well as leading CIS-based companies.

Nataliya specializes in consulting senior management of companies on reputation strategy, brand development, executive coaching, crisis management and strategic communications programs. She is a leading advisor to the CEOs of several market leading companies, as well as an expert in CSR and strategic media relations programs.

Nataliya is an author of the International Technology Public Relations review and joined leading communications practitioners in 2007 to judge the European SABRE awards. She is a frequent guest speaker at the Kyiv Mohyla Business School, as well as a regular commentator for the Russian and Ukrainian media on issues pertaining to communications consulting, crisis management, executive visibility and strategic media relations.

Nataliya holds a Master of Science degree in journalism and integrated marketing communications from the School of Mass Communications at San Jose State University (CA, USA) and MA in political science and sociology from the University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy.
